Latest News & Events

The SBCC knows it is important for burn survivors to feel they are not alone in facing day-to-day difficulties.  We aim to get the children and their families together as much as possible so that they can share and relate their experiences.

It is also important to have lots of fun and we combine the two by getting together for:

  • Day trips
  • Special events
  • Visits to organisations.

Undoubtedly the highlight of the calendar is the week long summer residential activity camp.

Keep an eye on our facebook page for further info.

A massive thank you to the Scottish Fire & Rescue Service, Thornton, Trainee Fire Fighters for choosing the SBCC, we would like to thank the trainees for raising a fantastic £1274.50

A massive thank you to the staff from EE Greenock for choosing to support the SBCC in 2017

New Fundraiser – Thank you to Andrew McCairn, from EE Greenock for suggesting the ‘Used Stamp Recycling’ idea – Andrew is looking to coordinate the collection at EE,  information is also available here, why not download a poster and place a collection box at your place of work or ask a teacher at school if they can help?
